Work
I have had experience working across domains like: Furniture, medical devices, consumer goods, automotive design etc. I have showcased 2 case studies in detail to show an example of my approach and capabilities in handling different aspects of a project. A lot of the work in my experience is under strict confidentiality clauses for which I am not at a liberty to show. Please have a look at the cases below.
2 detailed case studies

Medical design
Fecal Management System (FMS)
Geriatric patients need an easy, hygienic and most importantly, a dignified way of managing their waste while in the ICU. In a massive country like India both financial and manpower resources are scarce. Therefore, the solution had to be viable at the system level for the patient and the medical staff alike. What works in India can easily work at scale globally.

Own product 'Smthn'...it's something
Self initiated product journey to go from concept to customer within a year. Key strategy was Crowdfunding. Raised about $30000 in just 40 days and delivered about 1000+ bags across India with just 2 guys. A fast paced experiment to learn what goes behind building a brand and a product. Learnt manufacturing, distribution challenges, customer relationships, managing huge problems via product real and redesigning in days to fix the issue, directing and shooting product brand videos, web design, e-commerce store design etc. What a roller coaster!
Other projects

It was designed to support the passenger's body during the different forces experienced while the bus moves

Machine vision for the visually impaired
A low cost robust add-on device that fits onto the frame of spectacles. It uses machine vision for obstruction detection or risks along the path of the user with visual impairment. Mobile keypad for the visually impaired
Low cost universal add-on device that enables the user with visual impairment to access a mobile phone much better than using audio accessibility built-in tools. It also enables the user to navigate to different areas of the screen and type much faster and easier. The design added tactile and haptic features on the keypad for easy orientation of the key layout

EV Charger pod
Public and private EV charging pod. This was based on a coil shaped wire design that had a magnetic easy snap-on snap-off plug handle. Elegant and easy to manufacture, this pod was to be designed to sustain vandalism, environment abuse and maximize the ease of usage for all users
